It is barely noticeable, but as the maker, I can see it, and I want to note it. Rather than risk destroying the call by drilling it out for a new piece, I decided to reduce the price on it. This does not affect the calls sound or playability in any way whatsoever. I've heard from pen makers buffalo horn can sometimes warp when turned thin, and it finally happened on this one.
